Yelapa is one of the small villages that make up the native community along the south side of Banderas Bay. Many people think of as Yelapa as an island because there are no connecting roads and you need to either take a boat, horse, or walk to get there. The incomparable beauty and charm, as well as the simple lifestyle (electricity was connected just three years ago!), has attracted visitors from all over the world. There are now over 500 international residents who have been captivated by the lifestyle and now call Yelapa there home.
Start off sightseeing along the coastline enjoying views of Puerto Vallarta, Conchas Chinas, Los Arcos, and Mismaloya. Stop at one of the snorkeling spots and grab your gear and chase after tropical fish. Enter the cove of Yelapa and follow our guide as you visit the major sites while listening to stories of the village and its people. Head to the beach where you will enjoy lunch at our favorite beach restaurant and have a chance to relax and dig your toes in the sand afterwards. Climb back onboard one of our classic sailboats and catch the afternoon breeze on your way back to port. For those who are looking for a great combination of boating, snorkeling, exploring, and beach, this is the tour for you!
