Your tour route will begin at Rancho Pedro Lopez. The trained horses guide you along the soft dirt trails up to the famous Garden of Eden where many films such as The Predator and Night of the Iguana were filmed. You will have the opportunity to relax and take a dip in the natural clean water. The horses will guide you along the ancient Spanish trails back to the Lopez Ranch where lunch will be served in our palapa home style restaurant right off the river banks that consist of guacamole and chips, tacos (hand made tortillas), beans, and two drinks. The meal served at the restaurant is prepared with fresh ingredients daily by the wife of Don Pedro Lopez herself (her recipes are some of the most sought after in Puerto Vallarta). At Don Pedro's Ranch you will also have the opportunity to go swimming in the beautiful pool or take a brief nap in a hammock after lunch. To compliment this rural experience you will be offered a brief tequila tasting and explained the process of how we make our tequila from a natural cactus plant known as lechugilla.

Children ages 9 and up may ride alone and are considered adult passengers.
Ages 5-8 may ride alone, we have special saddles and belts to secure their safety.
